What is an Air Ambulance?
An air ambulance is an aircraft used for emergency medical transportation. Air ambulance crews are supplied with equipment that enables them to provide medical treatment to critically injured or ill patients. Air ambulances include a vast assortment of Advanced Life Support equipment such as portable ventilators, monitors/defibrillators, and advanced cardiac life support drugs.
Is ground transportation included in the service?
Res-Q-Jets will provide the most complete and effective customer service possible, so when you receive a quote for medical transportation, it is all inclusive, covering complete bedside to bedside service.
How do I get medical transportation?

A flight coordinator will consult with you about the best and most affordable way to transport your loved one, and how we can work together to ensure you get to your destination safely and as quickly as possible.
What is bedside to bedside service?
"Continuity of Care"
Bedside to bedside service means you will be escorted by a medical crew from your discharging facility to the air ambulance. Once on the air ambulance, you will be cared for by a medical crew for the duration of the flight. Upon arrival, you will then be escorted by a medical crew to your final destination. In short, bedside to bedside service is high quality continuity of care.

How much notice is required to book a flight?
Res-Q-Jets can be in the air in as little as one hour after booking. However, it’s best to notify us as soon as you realize the need exists.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Res-Q-Jets accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Wire Transfers, Certified Checks, approved personal checks and guaranteed, payments from approved insurance providers.
What type of medical personnel will accompany me on the flight?
Each flight is staffed with two or more highly trained critical care team members. These members may include a Certified Flight Nurse (CFRN), Registered Nurse, Critical Care Flight Paramedic (CCEMTP), or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Physician.
What are your hours of operation?
Res-Q-Jets is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to fulfill your medical transportation needs, including all holidays.
How much luggage can I bring?
- Falcon Jets – one carry on 21” suitcase is allowed. Please check with the flight coordinator for more specific instructions.
- Westwind Jets – can accommodate a large amount of additional luggage.
Depending on the jet utilized, equipment, crew composition, and condition of the patient, 1-4 passengers may accompany the patient.
